Protect Your Ag Buildings from Condensation Damage.
Dripstop™ protects your roof & everything beneath it from water damage caused by condensation.
Factory-Applied Condensation Control Membrane for Non-Climate-Controlled Agricultural Buildings
Barns: Keeps hay, feed and equipment dry by capturing roof condensation before it falls; protects framing and finishes from rot/rust.
Livestock Confinement: Controls high-humidity interiors without extra systems; supports healthier animals and reduces corrosion on metal roofs.
Open-Walled Structures (lumberyards, lean-tos, shelter-houses, pavilions): Handles dew/overnight temperature swings in partially open structures so areas under the roof stay dry.
Equipment & Machinery Sheds: Prevents dripping onto tractors and implements, helping avoid moisture-related corrosion and maintenance costs.
Why it works: When warm, humid air inside a building meets the cold underside of a metal roof, condensation forms. Instead of letting that moisture build up and drip down, the Dripstop membrane captures it—just like a sponge holding water—until the temperature rises, the roof warms, and the moisture evaporates back into the air.
Applicability: Designed specifically for metal roofing panels on agricultural buildings and other open/uninsulated structures; suitable for both wood-framed (post-frame) and steel-framed construction.
Barns
How Dripstop Helps:
Absorbs moisture from hay, feed, and livestock before it condenses and drips.
Protects wood/steel framing and interior finishes from rot and corrosion.
Keeps stored goods dry, preventing mold, spoilage and waste.
Reduces interior humidity so barns stay cleaner, safer, and easier to maintain.
Moisture is part of everyday life on the farm—but it’s also a hidden threat.
Wet equipment, freshly baled hay, and stored feed all release moisture into the air. In uninsulated barns, that humidity quickly builds up and meets the cooler underside of the metal roof, forming condensation. Over time, the moisture drips down—spoiling stored materials, corroding tools, and damaging the building structure itself.
Dripstop prevents this by absorbing condensation directly into the the air pockets in membrane before moisture can drip. The factory-applied membrane arrives ready to install with the roof panels—no extra labor required—and keeps barns drier, cleaner, and better protected from costly damage.
Livestock Confinement
How Dripstop Helps:
Manages condensation caused by animal respiration, wet bedding, and waste.
Prevents the damp surfaces that promote bacteria, mold, and ammonia corrosion.
Keeps animal environments dry, improving air quality and promoting animal health.
Extends the service life of roofing and interior framing in demanding, high-humidity barns.
Animals generate constant humidity through respiration and body heat, they track in moisture from mud, manure and waste. Inside structures, wet bedding and accumulated waste add even more vapor to the air, increasing the risk of condensation on uninsulated metal roofs. This moisture encourages bacteria, mold and mildew growth, and building corrosion, creating an unhealthy environment and reducing the building’s lifespan.
Dripstop absorbs that condensation directly into the air pockets in the membrane (like a sponge), keeping interiors drier, protecting both livestock and structure, and reducing the risk of costly corrosion or microbial growth.
Open Walled Structures
How Dripstop Helps:
Absorbs dew and condensation during temperature swings in partially open structures.
Keeps animals, feed areas, and workspaces dry without costly vapor barriers.
Does not provide material for bird and animal nesting like other solutions.
Preserves a clean, low-maintenance appearance under exposed roofing.
Open-Walled Structures (lumberyards, lean-tos, shelter-houses, pavilions):
Even though these structures are more open, they are also more exposed and vulnerable. With no walls to buffer humidity, dew, or rapid temperature swings, the underside of a metal roof becomes a prime surface for condensation.
Open-deck designs also invite bird and rodent nesting, which brings organic debris, droppings, and blockage of ventilation paths. That nesting material traps moisture, accelerates corrosion, and creates sanitation concerns, all while making maintenance more difficult. Meanwhile, dripping roof surfaces can soak the area below, damage stored materials, and degrade overall building performance.
Dripstop helps prevent these issues and does not provide any additional nesting material for animals the way insulation often does.
Equipment storage & Machine sheds
How Dripstop Helps:
Stops condensation from dripping onto tractors, tools, and electronics.
Prevents corrosion and rust on valuable machinery and structural steel.
Reduces maintenance and downtime while protecting long-term resale value.
Delivers a no-labor, factory-applied moisture solution that performs for the life of the roof.
Equipment & Machinery Sheds
Your equipment—from precision hand tools to the largest combines—represents a major investment. Allowing condensation to drip from metal roofs and corrode that equipment is both unnecessary and costly. Moisture from temperature swings leads to rust, electrical issues, and premature wear, driving up maintenance costs and reducing resale value. Dripstop prevents that damage by preventing condensation at the source, protecting your assets and preserving long-term value.
